Born and raised in New York City, he got his start writing and assisting photographers during NY Fashion Week during his days off of college. As he became better acquainted with the modeling world, Eder worked in producing and casting models for shows, from agencies such as NY Model Management, Next Management, Wilhelmina, and IMG.

His photography on the runway evolved into shooting his own work. Working out of his photography studio in Chelsea (across from the High Line), Eder is always branching out artistically. He has collaborated with art studios and produced short films throughout his career. He is intellectually omnivorous and flexible, pillars of his creative drive.
